How to show the postal code field as a select list?
This article explains how to display the postal code field as a select list instead of a text input. It also covers how the fields are linked—only cities for the selected province will appear, and only postal codes for the selected city will be available.
Please note that this is only possible, If the selected coverage supports displaying the postal code as a select list.
Simply choose a supported coverage from the coverage list, and make sure that the province and city fields are already set as select lists. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to enable the same option for the postal code field.
- Select the coverage you want to apply to your form (for example, Dropi).
- Edit the province and city fields, and make sure they are set as select lists.
- Finally, edit the postal code field and enable the option to display it as a select list.
Note that this option is only available for coverages that support it.
Once you’re done, click Save and check the form on your store.
When you select a province, the corresponding cities will appear. Then, after selecting a city, the related postal codes will be displayed as a list for you to choose from.
